Our History


St. Elizabeth Medical and Technical College Mukumu is a Catholic Faith Based Training College located in Kakamega County, Kakamega East SubCounty (Shinyalu) along Kakamega - Kisumu Highway. The College is accredited by both Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK) and Technical & Vocational Education & Training Authority (TVETA) to offer KRCHN nursing training and TVET technical courses respectively. We are located within St. Elizabeth Hospital Mukumu. The College is owned by the Roman Catholic Church under the jurisdiction of the Catholic Diocese of Kakamega.

Like all other Nurse Training and Technical Colleges, the students are subjected to the same curricular and Regulations approved by the Nursing Council of Kenya and TVET/ CDACC
